Jessica Hsuan: Sunny Chan is the best man ever!

Just Love II is scheduled to take over the 8.30pm time slot from Man In Charge next week. Recently, the cast attended the drama's promotional event held at Hong Kong Disneyland. Jessica Hsuan and Sunny Chan reprise their roles as the very just judge, Hei Man and devoted husband, Kot Kwok Kwong respectively.

At the event, Jessica and Sunny played games and were very much absorb into the game until they even shared a kiss. Jessica explains that Sunny is "the best man ever" and it's comfortable to be with him. Although Sunny is already married, Jessica is not afraid that their close bond will generate unnecessary rumours. Jessica admits that she is a little envious of Sunny's wife as she is able to marry a man as good as Sunny! Jessica also shares that she is currently not dating and her friends commented that she has high standards. She will leave the matters of the heart to fate.

Patrick Tang and Selena Li, who play husbands and wife in the drama, are rumoured to be dating in real life for years. They avoided each other when playing games, but Patrick accidentally kissed Selena's chest area during one of the gaming rounds. Reporters teased the two of them saying that they appear as though they are on a reality show. Patrick tells reporters present that he wishes to earn more money first before settling down.

Synopsis:
Chung Shun and Chung Ching are two brothers working in the Criminal Intelligence Bureau (C.I.B.) of the HK Police Force. Shun heads the technical section of the unit while Ching is part of the intelligence assessment section. Working in the C.I.B is challenging and stressful as the bureau is involved in tackling organised crimes. Shun and Ching's family and relationships are affected due to this.

Shun is married to Emily and has a teenage son, Michael. After 10 years of marriage, their relationship is no longer how it used to be. On the other hand, Ching begins to develop a relationship with Samantha, who coincidentally is Emily's nemesis at work. Samantha is a very focused and determined person at work and Emily sees her as a threat.

Filming Beyond the Realm of Conscience is a pain

Tavia Yeung, Charmaine Sheh and Selena Li were involved with the filming of new TVB drama, Beyond the Realm of Conscience. The series is a period drama and the cast are required to be decked in period costumes. Not only the clothes and shoes but this time around, headgears are also required. Tavia has to constantly hold on to her headgear when filming and explained that the headgear is too heavy. It was revealed that her headgear weighs 4 kilograms! Tavia says, "For this series, the most difficult part is that my headdress is too heavy, right now my neck is swollen, each night I would have to treat it with medication."

Selena Li, on the other hand, needs more than the headgear. As her character is pregnant, she need additional padding for her chest area as well as stomach. Selena is excited to be playing a pregnant woman as she explains, "This is the first time I'm a pregnant woman in an ancient series!" However, Selena shares that among the three additional items, the headgear is the most uncomfortable. "it's so heavy that half the time I'm forgetting my lines, it's due to it being in the way," she says.

Charmaine Sheh takes wearing the headgear and pain all in her stride. So how come she has it easier that the others? Charmaine reveals, "At this point in the series, I'm still a low level person, so I don't have as much on my head. When I become a concubine, I will have to wear the headdress as well, I'm kind of afraid that my head will be in pain then."

Patrick Tang and Nikki Chow happy with the King of Snooker ratings

The King of Snookers ended its run last week. To celebrate the completion of the drama, Patrick Tang invited the cast and crew of the drama series for a hot pot dinner. The team also watched the finale together. However, the two other leads, Adam Cheng and Nikki Chow were unable to attend as they are currently out of the country.

Although Adam could not join the team to celebrate, he sent over half a dozen bottle of Red Wine for the team to consume. No celebration is complete without alcohol and Patrick Tang knows that. He is also aware that one should not drink and drive, he explains, "I don't have a car tonight, I plan to drink quite a bit, haven't drank so much in a long time. It is a rare opportunity to be able to have dinner and drinks with a group of friends."

The ratings for King of Snookers is average and reporters asked Patrick if he was surprised. Patrick explains that he is not surprised as the ending of the drama was already set. "I am already happy enough that the ratings had a rise. I think Easter and the economy has some influence on it though", he added.

Nikki was in Japan to film a special music program so she could not make it for dinner. Patrick was kind enough to call her so that the reporters present could speak to Nikki. Nikki reveals that she is happy that the ratings improved, although just a small improvement but she is not too concerned about the ratings.

Wayne Lai has confidance in Rosy Business

Since Wayne Lai's success in bringing home the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 2008 TVB Anniversary Awards, his fan base has grown tremendously. Recently, at a function for his new TVB drama, Rosy Business, many young, female fans were present to support Wayne. Wayne was surprised that so many of his fans turned up but also explained that his fan base is now made up of people from various demographics.

Wayne can be seen in Rosy Business opposite another acting powerhouse, Sheren Tang. Both Wayne and Sheren are looking forward to the broadcast of the drama.

Rosy Business took over the time slot of King of Snookers which ended its run last week. Wayne was asked if he was worried that the poor ratings of King of Snookers will impact Rosy Business, in which he replied, "No, Sheren has a strong audience following. Also, the audience nowadays know how to choose what to watch. If then did not watch one series, this does not mean they are not interesting in the next one. They will judge each series independently."

Sheren is also not overly concerned about the ratings. Sheren laughed off Wayne's comments that she has a large audience following but instead says that Producer Lee Tim Sing is the one with the large following. Reporters asked Sheren if she has any hopes that her character "Po Kei" in Rosy Business will outshine her previous role in War and Beauty, but Sheren said she has not considered that.

Synopsis:
Hong Po Kei was once engaged to wealthy Wuxi rice baron, Tseung Kiu. Their engagement was broken off due to a natural disaster. Po Kei's family was killed when the country ran out of food supplies, while Po Kei was deemed a criminal.

Although much has happened, Po Kei has never gotten over Tseung Kiu. She believes that he is not as heartless as how others see him and tries hard to prove that. The fate between the two is strong and they finally meet again. By chance, Po Kei ends up marrying Tseung Kiu and became his fourth wife. Tseung Kiu's first and second wives, Yan Fung Yee and Pang Kiu contantly makes life difficult for Po Kei. However, Po Kei is a smart woman who is not bothered by their little antics, instead she turns every mis-adventure to her advantage. Tsueng Kiu is impressed by Po Kei's determination and wisdom. He entrusts his whole business in her hands and tells her to find him a suitable successor before he dies.

Po Kei works hard to manage the family business although she is contantly threathened by the in-fighting within the family. She also keeps Tseung Kiu's wish for a successor close to her heart. Po Kei learns that Tseung Pit Ching, Tseung Kiu's second son, is a capable person loved by all although Pit Ching would rather everyone believe that he's a playboy. Po Kei invests her time mentoring Pit Ching to take oveer the family business. However, her efforts were met with objections by Chai Kau. Chai Kau claims that he was mistreated by the Tseung family and wants revenge. Chai Kau begins to challenge Po Kei while Po Kei works hard to fend off Chai Kau's challenges. After numerous rounds of battles, Po Kei and Chai Kau develop admiration and respect for one another. As time passes, Chai Kau starts to fall for Po Kei.

How will the strong and risilent Po Kei handle the affection of Chai Kau? Will the Tseung family business prosper under the leadership of Pit Ching? Or will the in-fighting and constant bickering bring down the family business?

E.U. Emergency Unit: Episode 21 & 22

Episode 21

Sam Jie calls Laughin to the cemetery and questions him about his past. Laughin admits that he was once a police officer-in-training. But he was kicked out of the academy even before graduating. He has been in Chun Hing for over 9 years, he argues that if he was an undercover cop, Chun Hing would not have progressed.

Laughin tells Sam Jie that if she still doubts him, he will call Hau Ko out and let Hau Ko be the judge and see if he really is an undercover cop. Sam Jie agrees. While waiting for Hau Ko, Laughin slips some drug in Sam Jie's wine and make her unconscious.

Hau Ko calls Laughin and wants to bring him to the drug production factory. On their way over, Chung took many detours to throw off the police. However, they encounter an E.U. truck on their route and Hau Ko decides to cancel the trip to the factory.

Sam Jie's maid calls Hau Ko and informs him that Sam Jie did not return home. Laughin is worried and excuses himself. He goes back to the hotel room where he dropped Sam Jie earlier. Sam Jie is awake now but is groggy. Laughin begs her not to expose his past to Hau Ko.

Laughin visits Sam Jie with a bouquet of flowers. He overhears Sam Jie's phone call with her dance instructor. The dance instructor could not teach Sam Jie dancing so Laughin offers to be her teacher. Sam Jie feels a connection with Laughin while dancing, and Laughin was pleased.

It appears all that sam Jie has been doing is a trap. Hau Ko taught Sam Jie to pretend to fall for Laughin so she could get close to him and investigate further if he is indeed an undercover cop. Looks like Laughin's identity is in trouble!

Sam Jie goes grocery shopping with Laughin and takes the opportunity to cook dinner for him at his house. When they are at Laughin's place, Sam Jie asks Laughin to buy her a bottle of sauce which she forgot to buy. Once Laughin is out of the house, she snoops around for evidence that may incriminate Laughin. After dinner, Laughin gave Sam Jie a necklace as a sign of his affection for her.

Sam Jie could not find any evidence that points out Laughin is an undercover cop. Hau Ko begins to suspect his sidekicks including Lap Man. Hau Ko praises Lap Man's performance at Mega Disco. Laughin warns Lap Man not to be carried away just because Hau Ko praised him.

Hau Ko assigned Lap Man to receive a new batch of drugs. After receiving the drugs, Lap Man is suppose to pass the drugs to Chung. But when Chung opened up the briefcase, the drugs are missing. He accused Lap Man of stealing them. Hau Ko is very angry and wants to kill Lap Man. Hau Ko asks Laughin to do the deed as Lap Man is his follower. Laughin has no choice but to pull the trigger.

Episode 22

Hau Ko instructs Laughin to pull the trigger on Lap Man but the gun turned out to be empty. Hau Ko said he was putting the two of them (Laughin and Lap Man) through a test as he needs the most loyal people to help him in the drug business.

Lap Man blames Laughin for not standing up for him and confronts Laughin about it. Laughin explains that he has no choice as he has to execute any instructions given to him by the leader. They got into a heated argument with Lap Man announcing that he will severe all ties with Laughin.

Sam Jie hears about their argument and goes to Laughin's house to console him. Sam Jie also confesses to Laughin that she only pretended to accept him as her boyfriend to investigate if he is an undercover cop. Sam Jie said she has no romantic feelings for Laughin but only treats him as a friend. Laughin agrees to remain friends with Sam Jie. He asks her to keep the necklace he gave her earlier as a token of their friendship.

Sam Jie drops the necklace that laughin gave her. Hau Ko sees her frantically looking for the necklace and helped her. When he found out that the necklace was given by Laughin, he was jealous. Due to this reason, Hau Ko also banish Laughin from getting near to the drug factory.

Hau Ko summons Laughin to Mega and questions him about the necklace. Laughin admits that he gave Sam Jie the necklace when he was pursuing her. Hau Ko becomes enraged and brings out his gun. He loads the gun in front of Laughin and asks Laughin to take his own life there and then. Laughin begs Hau Ko for a chance to survive but Hau Ko refuses to listen. When Laughin was about to pull the trigger, Hao Ko took the gun off his sweating hand. Hau Ko changed his mind because Laughin had saved his life during the bomb blast at Jor Lun's house.

It appears Hau Ko was still testing Laughin. When Hau Ko asked Laughin to pull the trigger on Lap Man, Laughin's hands were steady as rock. In all his 9 years at Chun Hing, Laughin has never killed anyone with a gun. Someone who never had the experience of firing a gun will not have steady hands when firing it for the first time. Hau Ko thinks that Laughin is an undercover cop because he has experience firing guns and is not afraid.

Lap man meet up with Pak Kiu at a secret location and gave Pak Kiu his blessings for Pak Kiu's wedding the next day. Lap Man also warned Pak Kiu to be wary of Laughin. Lap Man explains that laughin is power crazy and is willing to do anything to gain power, including pulling at trigger at Lap Man.

Hau Ko pretends to arrange for Lap Man and Laughin to visit the drug factory. He instructs Chung to drop the two at a secluded area. On the way over, Hau Ko called Lap Man and told him that Laughin is an undercover cop. He instructs Lap Man to kill Laughin and tells Chung to watch the two.

It's Pak Kiu and Yuk Bo's wedding day. Pak Kiu goes to fetch the bride but before he can leave with the bride, he has to complete a game prepared by Sam Jie. The game requires him to go to the place where he first fall in love with Yuk Bo and find their engagement item. Coincidentally the place is the hill they covered when they were both on the E.U. trekking team - the same hill where Laughin and Lap Man is heading to.

Lap Man and Laughin reaches the an abandoned house where Hau Ko prepares a gun for Lap Man. Lap Man took the gun and struggles with Laughin with Chung watching from a distance. At the same time, Pak Kiu found the engagement item and heard a gun shot. He immediately rushed to the source of the sound.

Pak Kiu ambushed Chung from behind and steals his gun. He then sees Laughin pointing a gun at Lap Man. To defend his friend, Pak Kiu fires a shot at Laughin and wound him severely. Laughin lost his footing and roll down the hill. Lap man followed suit. Lap Man drives Laughin to the hospital, but Laughin may not make it. Laughin orders Lap Man to stop the car. He tells Lap Man to fire another shot at him and bring his body back to Hau Ko. That way, Lap Man will gain Hau Ko's trust and Laughin's death will not be in vain. Laughin also told Lap Man where to find his secret stash of diaries where Lap Man can find info about Chun Hing's dealings.

Lap Man brings Laughin's body back for Hau Ko and Hau Ko praises him for doing a good job. Sam Jie finds out about Laughin's death and is very disappointed and heartbroken. Hau Ko tells her it's all part of the "game".

Sammul Chan loves his tea

Sammul Chan has a passion for tea. Although tea drinking has been regarded as an interest which older men favour, Sammul has a keen interest in tea since he was a little chap. Sammul reveals that his passion for tea was influenced by his grandfather. He says, "When I was small, a group of cousins and I would go my grandfather's house to have dinner. My grandfather would then make us a cup of tea to drink. The more I drank, the more interest I gained. Then I spent time with my grandfather to learn about brewing tea. Brewing tea can help train your patience and stimulus of thought because brewing tea is a step by step process. This is my attitude towards life."

Sammul enjoys visiting tea specialty shops, browsing around for different types of teapots and tea. Sammul shares that whenever he travels abroad for work, he would buy teapots and give them as gifts. As for his beloved grandfather, Sammul usually buys him different types of tea leaves. Sammul told reporters that the most expensive teapot he has ever bought costs him more than HKD 1000.

Raymond Lam endorses Malaysian coffee brand

Raymond Lam Fung visited Malaysia to promote local coffee brand, Alicafe, which he recently signed on as ambassador. At the press conference, reporters were interested in the amount that Raymond will be pocketing and asked him about it. The question caught Raymond by surprise causing his to spit out the coffee he was drinking mid-way. Raymond did not answer the question but instead looked over at the boss and gave him a smile. This led the reporters present to conclude that Raymond's endorsement sum is satisfactory and is rumoured to be around 7 figures.

Raymond will be having his first solo concert this year in June at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Raymond shares that the costumes for his concert are being prepared and they have elements of sexiness in them. Reporters asked if rumoured girlfriend, Linda Chung will be an invited guest at his concert but Raymond ignored the question. All he would reveal is that he will choose artistes that he has not collaborated with previously who are also his close friends.

Aside from planning his first solo concert, Raymond will also be heading to Shenzhen to film a 30-episode drama series and is working hard on this third album.

Moses Chan celebrates 38th birthday working

Moses Chan is another April baby, just like Heart of Greed co-star, Linda Chung. Moses turns 38 on April 16 but spend the entire day working. He even attended a promotional event for German luggage bag brand, Rimowa. Rimowa gift Moses a suitcase for his birthday valued at HKD 7,788!

Moses reveals that this year, his birthday is special because his birthday on the western calendar coincides with his birthday on the lunar calendar. It's rare that those two days fall on the same day! His friends send text wishes him including rumoured girlfriend, Bernice Liu.

Reporters asked Moses if he is seriously considering starting a family as he is already 38 this year but Moses reveals that his family is not pressuring him to start a family yet. He assures reporters that when he finds the appropriate partner, he will announce it to the media and public.

Michael Miu and Maggie Cheung kisses in Sai Kung

Michael Miu and Maggie Cheung were filming a kissing scene for their new drama collaboration, The Pride of My Husband. The pair required more than one take for this kissing scene. Not because they were too shy, but Maggie requested for a re-take as she felt the first take was too shallow. Michael shared that he only started filming intimate scenes with his co-stars after his comeback. He is not worried that his wife, Jamie (soon to be seen alongside Gallen Lo and Ray Lui in Root of Evil) will be jealous.

The kissing scene was filmed on Sandy bay Beach in Sai Kung and attracted many passerbys. The crowd called out to Michael, but instead of calling him "Sam Ko" (Michael's nickname) they called him "Hau Ko", which is the name of his character in the recently concluded Emergency Unit E.U..

Before filming the scene, the very professional pair discussed with each other how to get the best result for the scene. After completing the scene, they would quickly watch the playback to see if the scene turns out alright.

Jessica Hsuan seduces Bowie Lam for Pearl on the Palm

Jessica Hsuan, Bowie Lam, Kiki Sheung, Joyce Tang and Macy Chan attended a promotional event for new TVB drama series Pearl on the Palm. The female cast showcased sponsored jewellery worth tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars. Although not pictured, Macy Chan's jewellery set is said the be the most expensive, valued at HKD 5.5 million.

Kiki Sheung wore a black pearl ring costing approximately HKD 100,000. She loved the ring so much that she asked the owner for a half price discount on it. To her surprise, the owner agreed and a deal was struck there and then!

Kiki jokingly said, "Since the ring was so cheap at half-price, I decided to purchase it. I am not concerned that I will purchase more items impulsively." Reporters asked Kiki if she will wear the black pearl ring during filming of the drama series, but Kiki did not give an affirmative answer. Instead, she said, "Earlier, I wore my own pearl necklace while filming as well."

Bowie shared a little bit of the storyline of the series. Jessica will be a seductress in the drama, and she will be seducing Bowie. Kiki Sheung make up the third point of the triangle and the trio will be embroiled in a love triangle.

Jessica shared that she will be taking on a villainous role and her first attempt at playing an antagonist. Jessica said that her character will have to portray inner turmoil and mental struggles, as such the scenes will require more attention.

E.U. Emergency Unit: Episode 19 & 20

Episode 19

Jor Lun's house burst into flames and Laughin and Hau Ko were knocked unconscious. Laughin was first to regain consciousness and immediately rushed to pull Hau Ko to safety. When they were both outside the burning house, Hau Ko realised that Sam Jie is still in the house. He rushed in again to save Sam Jie who had fainted in the kitchen.

At the hospital, Pak Kiu advised Hau Ko that should he feel his life is threatened, he should seek police protection. However Hau Ko declined Pak Kiu's offer.

Chun Hing's elders are upset with Lat Kai and his guts. Jor Lun volunteers to be the first to bring him down, but Chung warns that the Police would be monitoring them so it's best not to do anything yet.

Laughing told Chung that Hau Ko is falling for Sam Jie, much to Chung's disbelief. Chung believes that a man should place his career first and cannot be tied down by a woman. Chung forced Hau Ko to choose between his career or love by revealing to Hau Ko where the drug production factory is. The drug production factory is actually an extention from Oi Sam Ook's (Sam Jie's restaurant) kitchen. Hau Ko was shocked that Chung would make use of Sam Jie. Chung admits that he conceived the idea to extend the kitchen so he could make Sam Jie the scapegoat.

Chung warns Hau Ko to remain focused on his career and give Sam Jie up. Hau Ko arranged for Laughin to accompany Sam Jie at the hospital. He also told Laughin to lie to Sam Jie that it was laughin who saved Sam Jie and not Hau Ko.

Sam Jie wakes up and is disappointed to see Laughin by her bedside. She asked for Hau Ko but Laughin told her that Hau Ko was never there. It was him who accompanied her through out the night. Laughin also told Sam Jie that it was him who saved Sam Jie from the blaze at Jor Lun's place.

Yuk Bo and Fa Si Lai go to the hospital to help Sam Jie with her discharge. Fa Si Lai also informs her that Yuk Bo and Pak Kiu will be getting married soon. Sam Jie goes home and waited for Hau Ko to come home but Hau Ko treated her coldly.

The next morning, Sam Jie confronts Hau Ko. Hau Ko told Sam Jie that their relationship is moving too fast and he feels suffocated. He wants to focus on his career. Sam Jie told him that career is just an excuse. Previously Tin Ko could manage both love and career and she thinks Hau Ko could do the same. Hau Ko told her that Tin Ko may not have minded that she was once a prostitute but Hau Ko does mind!

Laughin persuade Sam Jie to go out on a date with him. Sam Jie refused but asked Laughin why Hau Ko becomes so distant. Laughin agrees to tell her - but with one condition. She ahs to go out on a date with him for one whole day. Sam Jie reluctantly agrees. After the date, Laughin told Sam Jie that Hau Ko has already made up his mind but it's Sam Jie herself who refuses to accept his decision.

Hau Ko and Laughin go to Yuen Long to look for Lat Kai. Hau Ko pretends to make peace with Lat Kai and offer him some of Chun Hing's teritories. Hau Ko buys time by making Lat Kai think that they are collaborating while Hau Ko investigates and look for the inside person who provides Chun Hing's insider info to Lat Kai.

Laughin goes to Lap Man's house to watch football. Laughin reminds Lap Man that no matter what he leaders tell them to do, they have to do it. They have to do anything that is required of them to gain the trusts of the leaders. Laughin told Lap Man to make the best of his relationship with Yau Yau to gain Hau Ko's trust.

Yau Yau goes to Mega Disco to look for Lap Man but Lap Man told her that he wants to focus on his work and told her not to look for him again. The two fight. Yau Yau left a message on her blog for Lucky Prince. She asks him to meet her that night and she will wait for him until he appears. Lap Man saw the message but decides not to turn up. It starts to rain. Lap Man brings an umbrella for Yau Yau and left it underneath a tree. As he was leaving, Yau Yau saw him and finally realises that Lap Man is indeed the Lucky Prince.

Episode 20

Yau Yau was drenched and soaking wet from head to toe when she went back. She confides to Sam Jie that Lap Man is actually the Lucky Prince. She tells Sam Jie that Lucky Prince is her pillar of strength, he supports her when she's down, encourages her to achieve her dreams. Sam Jie thinks that it's good that Lap Man is actually Lucky Prince as Yau Yau has fallen for him.

Yau Yau goes to Lap Man's house to return his umbrella. However, Lap Man denies that the umbrella is his and also deny that he is the Lucky Prince. Yau Yau asks Lap Man to meet her again that night at the same place. She insist that she will wait for him until he appears.

Hau Ko announces to the triad elders that he plans to share half of Chun Hing's territories with Lat Kai. But the triad elders' strongly oppose the idea. Jor Lun once again offers to "finish" Lat Kai off!

After the triad meeting at Chun Hing, Lap Man passes by the park and sees Yau Yau still waiting there. He joins her there and Yau Yau was elated that Lap Man finally shows up. Lap Man is surprised to learn that Yau Yau had waited over 10 hours for him. Yau Yau declares to Lap Man that she is willing to wait for him for 10 years. She is willing to wait until he successfully establish his career before they start their relationship.

Pak Kiu manages to track down Lat Kai's followers who bought 6 bowling bags to place the bombs. The followers also paid for some groceries with Octopus card, so Pak Kiu's team manages to track them down and arrest them. However, Pak Kiu is a little weary as he believe the case was too simple, as though the criminals were exposed to the police. Pak Kiu orders the team to be on their toes and investigate further.

Hau Ko suspects there's a spy in Chun Hing who has been feeding information to Lat Kai. He asks Laughin to find out who the spy is. If Laughin manages to find the spy, Hau Ko will reward him by bringing him to the drug production factory.

Laughin delivers the latest restaurant menu to Sam Jie and overhears Yuk Bo telling her that she wishes to have her wedding at a church. Unfortunately the church was fully booked and she has to have the ceremony elsewhere. Laughin is a parishioner of the church and discusses the matter with the priest and finally got the church for Yuk Bo. Sam Jie thought Laughin had intimidated the priest and goes to the church to apologise on his behalf. She then realises that Laughin did not intimidate the priest and learns that he is quite a religious person.

Lat Kai finally appears to take over some of Chun Hing's territories as promised by Hau Ko. The first place that he takes over is Jor Lun's area. It appears Jor Lun and Lat Kai are partners and Jor Lun is the spy in Chun Hing. Laughin observed the exchange between Jor Lun and Lat Kai and reports back to Hau Ko. No wonder when Lat kai send the bomb to Jor Lun's house, Jor Lun and his father was out.

Sam Jie finds out from the priest that Laughin thinks that in his life he is most indebted to Wendy, his ex-girlfriend. Sam Jie decides to pay respects to Wendy on Laughin's behalf. At Wendy's grave, Sam Jie bumps into Wendy's parents. From them. Sam Jie finds out that Laughin was once a cop. She is shocked to learn that as no one in Chun Hing ever know of that side of Laughin's past.

Kenneth Ma plays around in Man in Charge

Man in Charge starts its run today. The cast, Kenneth Ma, Kate Tsui, Leila Tong and Matthew Ko attended an event to promote the drama series. Kate and Kenneth, who plays a married couple in the series, were dressed on traditional wedding costumes. Members of the press request that the pair kiss for the camera and the sporting pair obliged by puckering their lips together and pretend to smooch.

Man in Charge will see Kate displaying martial art moves. She hopes that the ratings for Man in Charge will surpass the record of her previous collaboration with Kenneth, Speech of Silence. Kenneth echoes Kate's wishes and hopes that Man in Charge will replicate the success of Speech of Silence, which averaged at 30 points in ratings.

Man in Charge will also see Kenneth entangle himself in a love triangle with Kate and Leila. Kenneth jokes that he is indeed a true player in the series. Reporters took the chance to ask Kenneth who is the better dancer - Kate or rumoured girlfriend Nancy Wu. Kenneth replies, "I do not know, both ladies have two different styles. Maybe Kate dances better! I have only seen Nancy dance when we partnered on the dancing program. She doesn’t dance for me to see on a normal basis!"

Kenneth and Matthew Ko will be singing the theme for Man in Charge. Kenneth clarifies that he has no plans to venture into the music industry. However he doesn't mind collaborating in a TVB produced album.
