The children and Jo Bao visited Hor Ma in the hospital. Hor Ma request that Jo Bao let Chung Zai return to her as she wants to guide Chung Zai properly. Jo Bao said he has no problem with that arrangement but Grandma is reluctant.
Ka wants to move out from the Kam household. He used the excuse of wanting to start his new PR company to calm Grandma down. She was against his moving out but Jo Bao told Ka to go back often for dinner. Grandma was unhappy and refused to take her medication.
Yan Hong insist that Chung Zai return to Manchester to complete his studies. He was very upset and met up with Ho, Yuet, Hing and Tat Suk to express his unhappiness. Tat Suk wants Chung Zai to go back to their house as he is already an adult. Unfortunately, Sa Yee heard their plans and quickly informed Grandma.
Grandma was very upset and once again placed the blame on Hor Ma, saying that she sent Ka as a spy to their house, forcing Ho to be uneducated and a mere baker, and refused to let Chung Zai return to Manchester. Grandma threaten to go on a hunger strike until Chung Zai returns home. She wants all the children to return before she agrees to take her medication and food.
Jo Bao tries to coax grandma to eat but Grandma was very firm in her stand. She wants Ka and Chung Zai to return home. Until and unless they do so, she will not eat a single grain of rice. Finally Jo Bao could not bear to watch Grandma suffer and succumb to her demands. But Grandma wants Jo Bao to promise her one more thing - never to see Hor Ma ever again! Jo Bao had no choice but to agree. [All this because of Sa Yee's greed and lies!]
Jo Bao gets all the children to return to his house to visit Grandma, all except Chung Zai. Ho plans to replace Chung Zai so that Chung Zai can remain in Hor Ma's place. But when Grandma realise that Chung Zai did not return, she went ballistics again. However, this time it was Hing who managed to control the situation. She asked Grandma what happened to the nice, warm-hearted and kind grandmother that she used to know. This current grandmother is unreasonable and stubborn. Grandma finally realised that her selfish actions has made everyone unhappy and miserable.
Hor Ma was finally discharged from hospital. She questioned Sa Yee about her actions - lying to Grandma and taking Grandma's money! Hor Ma said she has gotten herself healed and questioned when Sa Yee is going to get herself treated - for being naive and greedy! Hor Ma told her to fix the mess regarding Nien Tze Yong and his job in Australia. Finally NTY get to go to Australia and be united with his sister.
