Sa Yee introduced a friend, Mr Chu to Nien Tze Yung (NTY). Mr Chu is interested to open a bakery and chinese cakes specialty store in Australia. The area that he is targeting is in fact the place NTY's sister is currently at. NTY is very happy that he can finally reunite with his sister in Australia. Mr Chu also offered him a salary of HK 70, 000 a month! When he informed Hor Ma of his decision, Hor Ma was happy and supported him.
Hor Ma injured her back again and this time, as her spine is pressed on on of the nerves, she needs surgery. The children are very worried but Chau explained that the surgery is not risky, she can move around after 3 - 4 days. Jo Bao wants to foot the medical bill but Hor Ma refuses to accept his goodwill.
Grandma (Lai) went to the bakery to visit Ho. She almost bumped into Chung Zai but luckily he was able to avoid her. Sa Yee and NTY lied to Grandma that Ho went out to deliver goods. They took Grandma to a cafe to wait for Ho to return. While "waiting" Sa Yee and NTY advised Grandma to have a more positive outlook in life. They advised her not to hold grudges against Hor Ma and let bygones be bygones.
A neighbour's son has sent home a letter in English, and the neighbour asked for Tat Suk's help to translate it. Tat Suk passed the task to Chung Zai. Chung Zai's english language is poor and needs the help of a dictionary. Sa Yee caught him translating with the dictionary's help and mocked him about it, wondering if he is indeed illiterate as he has difficulty in both Chinese and English language.
Chung Zai was upset and he went to a nearby basketball court. He was tearing when all his siblings came to look for him. They consoled him and cheer him up with their lame attempt at rapping. They gave him a racing boat [it's either a canoe or kayak, I'm not too sure] and supported him for his competition.
Hor Ma also had a chance to watch Chung Zai compete before her surgery, thanks to the 3G technology. Chung Zai finally won and made everyone proud.
Sa Yee is up to her tricks again. This time she intends to "cheat" grandma of her money, telling Grandma that the ovens in Hor Ma's shops are old and they may explode anytime, putting Ho's life at risk. Upon hearing this Grandma immediately gave Sa Yee money to replace the old ovens. Sa Yee also revealed to Grandma that Chung Zai is already back in Hong Kong. Grandma, together with Yan Hong, went to Hor Ma's place to drag Chung Zai back to their house.
The children were wondering how could Grandma find out about Chung Zai. Sa Yee was quick to put the blame on Jo Bao when in fact she was the guilty party. NTY could no longer bear with Sa Yee's attitude and he revealed to the children and Tat Suk that it was actually Sa Yee who informed grandma about Chung Zai.
Sa Yee revenged on NTY by telling Mr Chu that NTY is not suitable to be the baker at his shop in Australia. Tat Suk could no longer stand Sa Yee and he hit her with a laddle and poured soup on her.
