Moonlight Resonance - Episode 6

Ho Ma and Tat Suk were worried about Sa Yee's whereabouts as she has disappeared for 4 days without any news. On the fourth day, they received a call from Sa Yee inviting them to dinner which she emphasised that the must attend. Sa Yee also invited the 4 children, Ka, Ho, Yuet and Hing. During the dinner she informed them that she will be going back to Portugal to attend the court hearing for her divorce case. The children were very happy when they hear that she is leaving. However, Sa Yee assured them that "she will be back"!

Ka was tasked to organise a show for his company onboard a yacht and he was required to find 6 models. However he only found 4 models so he had to get Yuet and Hing to help him. They refused to entertain him initially but then Ka said, "Gong woo gau gap! Elder bro in trouble, lil sisters must help." [He looked so funny charging into the shop to look for them. It was hilarious and cute.] So in the end Yuet and Hing helped Ka out and they modeled for him. Ka also took the opportunity to ask Eliza to hire Yuet as his assistant.

A Caucasian woman went to Hor Ma's shop to order some biscuits for charity. However, neither Hor Ma nor Ho can speak English. The woman tried to ask for cakes which are not sticky and easy to masticate but Ho was telling her that their cakes are very popular and they have many returning customers. Luckily, Sum happened to pass by and helped to translate for Hor Ma and Ho. As a gesture of thanks, Hor Ma wanted to treat Chau and the children to dinner but Chau declined. Instead, she asked Hor Ma to sponsor a charity event. She attended the event with Ho and they reminisce their childhood pastimes and games.

Chau continued to reminisce the good times she shared with Ho. When she went to England to study, Ho had sent her many letters, cards and even tapes but she never opened any of them. She finally opened and read those letters and cards. She realised that Ho was actually a bright student. He lied to Hor Ma that he couldn't follow the lessons in school because he wanted to help Hor Ma in the cake shop as there was no one else that could help. Chau called Raymond out to apologise to him. She confessed that she had indirectly helped Yan Hong to break up the Kam family. Tai Jo (Jo Bao) had wanted to break things off with Yan Hong because of his children but Yan Hong faked her suicide to force Jo Bao back to her. Chau was partly responsible because she helped Yan Hong to deliver a letter to Jo Bao. Chau also felt guilty because she had played a part in robbing Ho, Yuet and Hing of their future. If the Kam family had stayed together, the children would be well schooled and they would be successful.

Hor Ma reprimanded Ka for being involved in the stock market. She lectured warned him not to buy any more shares. Ka relented after seeing Hor Ma so upset. He promised not to touch any more shares and stocks. But after 2 days, Ka could not stop himself and once again gets involved in the stock market.

Hor Ma shared her worries with Nien Tze Yong (NTY). NTY confessed that he had a part to play in Ka's fetish for stocks. He told Hor Ma that when Ka was 18, Yan Hong tried to get Ka to cal her "mom" but Ka refused. Yan Hong was very pissed and instigated NTY to introduce Ka to stocks. Since then Ka was sucked into the madness of the stockbroking world. After hearing what NTY said, Hor Ma was consumed by guilt as she was the one who sent Ka to live with Jo Bao and Yan Hong.
