Synopsis:
Tseung Tin Ngor, a wealthy woman, was kidnapped together with her beloved pet dog, Woody. Although both woman and dog were unharmed, Woody suffers from some behavioral problems since that kidnapping incident. Tin Ngor brings Woody for treatment at various Veterinarian Clinics but to no avail.

Left with little options, Tin Ngor gets help from Lai Chun Sing, a retired police canine officer. Chun Sing, who recently retired from his police job, owns a kennel in the suburbs. Although Tin Ngor does not have good impression of Chun Sing (also fondly known as Lulu Sir) she trusts him to help Woody. When Woody's condition improves noticeably, Tin Ngor was impressed and changes her perception towards Lulu Sir.

Tin Ngor begins to investigate her own kidnapping and mistakenly conceives that Lulu Sir's landlord, Chow Yung Kung, as one of the kidnappers. With the help of Bingo, a police-trained dog, Tin Ngor and Lulu Sir manage to prove Yung Kung's innocence and clear him from the crime.

Yung Kung was touched by Bingo and Lulu Sir's efforts and that motivates him to be a better dog lover. His concern and care for his own dog keeps him in constant contact with Lai Sin Yue (Lulu's Sir's daughter), a Veterinarian.

Synopsis:
Ko Ching Man, who is driven by vanity, participated in a beauty pageant although her mother, Cheung Lai Hung, a retired former actress, opposed that. She won the pageant and launched herself into instant super-stardom.

Tong Ho Yee, a budding new actress, feels that Ching Man threatens her rise and decided to switch to another TV station to seek a fresh breakthrough. However, her decision to switch is not supported by Deacon Chong her production assistant friend.

Leading actress, Leung Chin Fung is bitter rivals with Lai Hung. When she learns that Lai Hung's daughter, Ching Man's career is booming, she offers to be Ching Man's mentor. Little does Ching Man realise that Chin Fung is bitter and is plotting her downfall bit by bit.

Chin Fung is afraid of aging and injects herself with illegal substances to "preserve" her beauty but instead the substances caused her face to change. Her facial changes caused her contracts with a cosmetics company to be terminated. Ching Man was later selected to replace her, much to Chin Fung's dismay. She not only lost money to Ching Man but her Best Actress Award (which she has won for numerous years) is fast slipping out of her hands. Chin Fung vowed to exert revenge on Ching Man for all the pain that she has caused her.

The Beauty of the Game tells the story of Ching Man, Ho Yee and Chin Fung and their quest for fame and fortune. They are determined to achieve their dreams, no matter the cost. However, the road leading to their dreams is filled with obstacles, one after another and has thought them the meaning of true beauty.

Synopsis:
Banker, Cheuk Yat Yuen has a long lost brother, Cheuk Yat Ming. While trying to find him, Yat Yuen mistakenly identify con artist Sa Fu Loi as Yat Ming. Assuming Yat Ming's identity, Fu Loi manages to rise up to be one of the key players in the banking industry. This strange connection of brotherhood has blinded Yat Yuen and Fu Loi's real intentions.

Yat Yuen is kidnapped by a group of rioters overseas. This incident affected him dramatically and he is a changed man. His wife, Ho Tseuk Nin tries her best to comfort and console him but to no avail. To ease his pain, Yat Yuen returns to the arms of his former lover, Tung Chi Ling. Tseuk Nin is devastated when she learns of Yat Yuen and Chi Ling's affair.

Fu Loi enjoys being Yat Ming. This mistaken identity not only brings him financial status but also family warmth and a sweet taste or romance. Fu Loi finds himself falling for Yat Yuen's sister, Cheuk Yat Sum. Yat Sum is also attracted to Fu Loi but she keeps her emotions in check as she thought they are biological siblings. She chooses to remain with her long time admirer, Ko Tok Man.

Fu Loi is upset that Yat Sum rejects his love. He is not willing to give her up but he cannot reveal his true identity. Fu Loi is caught up in a dilemma where he must choose between love and fortune. he finally decides to choose fortune and embark on a journey of no return.

Synopsis:
Lo Siu Lai is a Cookery teacher who recently went on a trip with her husband, Ng Man Tak. Upon her return, she is shocked to learn that her daughter, Ng Choi Ni, is cohabitation with another man, Lau Tat Yan (although the man displays some homosexual tendencies). Meanwhile, her sister, Lo Siu Mei who is divorced is embroiled in a love triangle which involves her ex-husband and tenant, Yau Kai.


After a series of incidents, Man Tak is asked to retire early. He stays at home the whole day with nothing to do. On the other hand, Siu Lai is given the chance to host a cooking show on TV. Many things are happening in Siu Lai's life at breakneck speed, but every situation teaches her to be more patient. Man Tak is unhappy with the way things are and shows his frustration at Siu Lai. The couple continues to bicker until Siu Lai thought of a good way to "manage" Tak.


The Stew of Life gives viewers an insight into the lives of women as they portray different roles within a family as well as their take on relationships and family issues.

Synopsis:
Following the conclusion of D.I.E, the D.I.E team has been disband and the members are now serving the police force in different departments. After several mishaps and misadventures, the Commissioner of Police decided to reactivate the D.I.E Unit.


Yue Chi Long, Chung Ching Yee, Ying Jing Jing and other former teammates are delighted that D.I.E has been reinstated. They are excited to be back at D.I.E and are looking forward to solving more mysterious cases. Jing Jing is not willing to be a stay-at-home Mum, thus she brings along her baby to work. Chi Long is unhappy with Jing Jing's arrangements but he has no choice. Together with their other teammates, the couple take turns to care for their baby resulting in numerous misadventures.


Chi Long and Jing Jing soon learn that their baby has inherited Chi Long's supernatural powers. Jing Jing makes use of the baby's powers to help her solve cases and at the same time prove to Chi Long that she is a capable police officer.


Jing Jing's sister, Pui Pui is being used to attack Chi Long and his family. During one of the attacks, Chi Long was ambushed and ends up in a coma. Upon realising that his wife and son are in danger, Chi Long's spirit takes over Ching Yee's body to save them.

Synopsis:
High-flier Mak Tai Song has bid the business world adieu after the death of his mentor. Later on, he get to know that his mentor's wife, Sze Mo Lin is in debt. To help her out, Tai Song begins to sell "business tactics" to a trader, Tong Kat to settle Mo Lin's debts.


Song refuses to settle down in a full time job and would rather earn his income on a daily basis. Tai Song meets a debt collection agent, Lam Miu Miu. She tires to push him into a corner. Both Tai Song and Miu Miu play trieck on one another until they eventually fall for each other.


Tai Song also runs into his brother, On Cho Lin. Their meeting triggered memories from Tai Song's past; he recalled the times when his mother left the family. Tai Song felt a sense of hatred for his mother and is determined to seek revenge against Cho Lin and his family. Tai Song's sudden change in personality left Miu Miu feeling confused.

Synopsis:
The third installment of Burning Flame is finally set to air. Similar to its predecessors, Burning Flame 3 tells the story of a group of firefighters who strive to protect the safety and well-beings of the citizens of Hong Kong. They work in extreme conditions to rescue victims and through these trying times, the beauty of human nature shines through.


The leader of the group of firemen, Chung Yau Sing, encouraged Fong Lei On to take up the challenge and join the team. Lei On gets to know Cheuk Pak Yue, who was once buddies with Yau Sing but has since drifted apart due to a misunderstanding. Lei On sides with Yau Sing and as a result, his relationship with Pak Yue suffers. Lei On believes that Pak Yue has stolen Yau Sing's girlfriend, Ko Wai Ying and also caused Yau Sing serious injuries.


However, a terrible fire accident draws the team together in a twist of fate. The team of firefighters reflect and search for a deeper sense of awareness among themselves.

Series Update: A Great Way to Care & Sweetness in the Salt

Due to the success of Rosy Business, TVB decided to un-warehouse Sweetness in the Salt. Both series are helmed by Producer Li Tim Shing. Sweetness in the Salt, starring Tavia Yeung and Steven Ma, was previously aired to viewers in Malaysia via cable TV, Astro on Demand (AOD). Hong Kong viewers will get their chance to watch this drama series when TVB airs it from June 8, 2009 (replacing Just Love 2).


Malaysian subscribers of AOD, meanwhile, will get to watch A Great Way to Care. A Great Way to Care stars Alex Fong (last seen in The Building Blocks of Life), Kate Tsui (The Four, Man In Charge), Elliot Yue, Mary Hon, Vivien Yeo, Natalie Tong, among others. A Great Way to Care is warehoused by TVB and will only be available to overseas viewers.

Synopsis:

Lap Yan is good friends with Lin Chi Sum, a fellow psychiatrist and colleague as well as Lee Ying Chun, a nurse. Lap Yan is a single father and has a daughter. After going through a failed marriage, he doesn't plan to commit himself into another relationship. That is, until he meets Mok Man Yee. Man Yee is the Inspector of Serious Crime of the Hong Kong Police. Both Lap Yan and Man Yee work closely together to solve crime cases. Their relationship progressed quickly.


However, Man Yee has a history of mental disorder. As such, she keeps her feelings for Lap Yan in check and stays away from him.

Synopsis:
The Immigration Department guards the gateway in and out of Hong Kong. They are tasked to prevent questionable figures and criminals from entering Hong Kong. The immigration officers have a highly demanding task in their hands. However, this tough task raises a question - how can the officers accurately verify the identities of travellers? This is the first TV drama series that revolves around the immigration department.


While applying for a position in the Hong Kong Immigration Department, Fong Chun Kit makes friends with two other candidates; Cheng Pak Yue and Yip On Kei. Pak Yue is an aggressive and ambitious person. he later moves on to the police force and is promoted to Senior Inspector of Regional Crime Unit. While investigating a case, Pak Yue realises that the new triad leader, Wu Kit Sum has murdered someone because of Chun Kit's wife. This revelation has turned Chun Kit's life upside down.


As Chun Kit's good friend, On Kei helps Chun Kit to care for his son. On Kei also suffered a failed relationship with Pak Yue.


Au Shun Fong sees potential in Chun Kit's ability and recommends him to Mak Kai Ming, the Head of Investigation Section for the HK Immigration department. Chun Kit is successfully promoted and he is determined to start his life anew. While investigating a fraud syndicate, Chun Kit discovers his missing wife and uncovers her long hidden identity.

Synopsis:

Synopsis:
Hong Po Kei was once engaged to wealthy Wuxi rice baron, Tseung Kiu. Their engagement was broken off due to a natural disaster. Po Kei's family was killed when the country ran out of food supplies, while Po Kei was deemed a criminal.


Although much has happened, Po Kei has never gotten over Tseung Kiu. She believes that he is not as heartless as how others see him and tries hard to prove that. The fate between the two is strong and they finally meet again. By chance, Po Kei ends up marrying Tseung Kiu and became his fourth wife. Tseung Kiu's first and second wives, Yan Fung Yee and Pang Kiu contantly makes life difficult for Po Kei. However, Po Kei is a smart woman who is not bothered by their little antics, instead she turns every mis-adventure to her advantage. Tsueng Kiu is impressed by Po Kei's determination and wisdom. He entrusts his whole business in her hands and tells her to find him a suitable successor before he dies.


Po Kei works hard to manage the family business although she is contantly threathened by the in-fighting within the family. She also keeps Tseung Kiu's wish for a successor close to her heart. Po Kei learns that Tseung Pit Ching, Tseung Kiu's second son, is a capable person loved by all although Pit Ching would rather everyone believe that he's a playboy. Po Kei invests her time mentoring Pit Ching to take oveer the family business. However, her efforts were met with objections by Chai Kau. Chai Kau claims that he was mistreated by the Tseung family and wants revenge. Chai Kau begins to challenge Po Kei while Po Kei works hard to fend off Chai Kau's challenges. After numerous rounds of battles, Po Kei and Chai Kau develop admiration and respect for one another. As time passes, Chai Kau starts to fall for Po Kei.


How will the strong and risilent Po Kei handle the affection of Chai Kau? Will the Tseung family business prosper under the leadership of Pit Ching? Or will the in-fighting and constant bickering bring down the family business?

Synopsis:
Master Tai Yau Kung trains official advisers for the government. He helps his foster son, Chow Ping, secure a job with them. Chow Ping is a smart and intelligent young man who has his own principles and beliefs. He does not like the rigidity of the rules and practices of the officials so he chooses to stay idle most of the time. To have some fun, Chow Ping occasionally frequents tavern. There, he meets the beautiful owner Chong Siu Han and falls for her. However, Chow Ping already has a wife, Chiu Yuk Hing, who becomes jealous and move out from their home.


Master Tai recommends Chow Ping to become the advisor to a new government official, Shum Kwan Pok. Chow Ping and Kwan Pok clicks well and eventually become best buddies. Nevertheless, Chow Ping accidentally discover that Kwan Pok is actually Master Tai's biological son. Kwan Pok begins to protect himself and uses Yuk Hing to get rid of Chow Ping. Chow Ping is also surprised to learn that Yuk Hing is actually a spy working for the Imperial government.

Synopsis:
Yau Yat Kiu is a champion and world renowned snooker player. however, his decision to retire from the world of snooker caught everyone by surprise. His daughter, Yau Ka Kan is disappointed with Yat Kiu's decision as she has always wanted to emulate him to be a successful snooker player. Ka Kan is puzzled by Yai Kiu's actions; although he claims not to care about the game anymore, he sets up a game of high difficulty in his restaurant. Yat Kiu is obviously waiting for someone to solve the challenge.


Yat Kiu gets to know Kan Tse Him by chance and notices his flair in the game of snooker. Yat Kiu decides to take Tse Him on as his student and passes his snooker knowledge to Tse Him. When Ka Kan learns that Yat Kiu is mentoring Tse Him, she convinces him to take her as his student too.


Tse Him gradually falls for Ka Kan, but Ka Kan only has eves for Lui Kin Chung, who happens to be Yat Kiu's bitter rival. Kin Chung is a sneaky person and would do anything for a game. He fools around with Tse Him's aunt, Chin To To in order for him to win a game. Tse Him and Yat Kiu have a falling out caused by Kin Chung. The master and disciple have no choice but to settle their disputes on the snooker table.

Synopsis:
There are four deities under the Stove God and Fan Tung is one of them. Fan Tung unknowingly offended the Queen Mother of the West for being hungry. He gets sentenced to being imprisoned in a Winter Melon for 500 years!


Tin Dai Kwai and his wife, Chung Pik Yoke accidentally free Fan Tung from the winter melon when Fan Tung crashed with Dai Kwai's older brother, Tin Dai Fu and his spirit enters Dai Fu's body. However, Fan Tung loses all his instincts when he enters Dai Fu's body.


After that incident, Fan Tung starts to live with Dai Kwai in his house. However, Pik Yoke finds Fan Tung very suspicious and tries her best to unmask him. Fan Tung tries to return to heaven but fails to do so. As such he has to rely on the help of six little deities.

Kong Sai Hau is released from prison in Taiwan. He intends to return to Hong Kong immediately to be reunited with his daughter, Yau Yau. Sai Hau wants to mend his broken relationship with Yau Yau. Sai Hau has a plan to revenge on the triad leader, Tin, who was the one who caused his incarceration in the first place. Sai Hau knows that in order to strengthen his influence in the gang, he also needs help from the police force and aims to draw two young policemen onto his side.


Lee Pak Kiu, who is attached to the Emergency Unit (E.U>) and Chung Lap Man from the Special Duty Squad are Sai Hau's targets. Pak Kiu is reluctant to mix with a gangster while Lap Man thinks that he can take advantage of his relationship with Sai Hau to combat crime. Lap Man eventually becomes close with Sai Hau but his closeness caused him his job. Lap Man was fired by the police force. Sai Hau takes Lap Man under his wings and Lap Man devotes himself entirely to the triads.


The triad leader, Tin, is always wary of Sai Hau and places his trusted follower, Siu Tong, to keep an eye on Sai Hau. Sai Hau retaliates by manipulating his relationship with Tin's wife, Yuk Sam to gain positions within the triads. Sai Hau eventually becomes the triad leader but the triad's illegal business keeps facing obstacles. Sai Hau then begins to question the loyalty of his triad members.


Note: E.U. is the third installment to "The Academy" Series. The first series is called The Academy (2005) while the second series is called On the First Beat (2007).

Synopsis:
Dik Yan Kit is one of the most celebrated and trusted chancellors of Empress Mo. Empress Mo's nephew, Mo Sing Chi, is jealous of Dik's success. Mo tries to sabotage Dik in every opportunity that he gets. Mo finally gets his golden chance when he accuses Dik for conspiring with his daughter, Dik Ching Lun's husband, Sung Ting Yuk of attempting to overthrow Empress Mo's throne.


Dik is disappointed and exasperated with Mo's actions.Under the influence of Mo, Empress Mo orders to capture all Dik's family members. Dik manages to escape but Mo threatens to kill his wife, Cho Yuet. Dik must find a way to right things and restore order before even more people are hurt by Mo's actions.

Moses Chan, Myolie Wu and Ron Ng involve in 4 drama series

TVB artists and production crew gathered for the blessing ceremony for TVB's 2009 Sales Presentation. From the booklet, it was stated that Ron Ng, Myolie Wu and Moses Chan will be involved in four drama series each for 2009. Bosco Wong, Linda Chung, Tavia Yeung and Charmaine Sheh will each be involved in two drama series. Meanwhile, Raymond Lam who has three series in 2008 - The Master of Tai Chi, The Four, Moonlight Resonance; will reportedly be involved in one series in 2009. Ron Ng expressed that this way, Raymond can focus more on his singing career.
