Episode 7
Sam Jie discovers that the cash in her safe is all missing. She informs Laughin and he immediately suspects Hau Ko as the culprit. Laughin also commented that Hau Ko maybe the one who arranged for Tin Ko to be killed indirectly.
Laughin and Sam Jie goes to Chun Hing. Laughin beat up Hau Ko for taking Sam Jie's money but the triad elder said the money is with him for safe keeping. Hau Ko took the money because he is afraid the police will find it at Sam Jie's house.
Sam Jie plans to arrange Tin Ko's funeral on her own but she was exhausted and got into an accident. She was hospitalised. Fa Si Lai who visited her other daughter, Yuk Bo, got to know that Sam Jie is staying in the same hospital. Fa Si Lai cooks some soup for Sam Jie and asks Hau Ko to bring for her.
Yau Yau's stint as the "little princess" was exposed by Lap Man's colleague. However, Lap Man helped her to cover her lies by "posing" as the little prince and vouch for her. His colleagues are then convinced that Yau Yau is a real princess.
Yuk Bo reports for duty at EU and is assigned to the same car as Pak Kiu. Her former instructor at PTU also joined her at EU and was also assigned to the same car. The new Sargeant is a very strict and no nonsense person.
On the day of Tin Ko funeral, the triads all gather for a meal. Even before the meal starts, Laughin starts to cause trouble and the police summon the whole group back to the police station for questioning.
Episode 8
Laughin, who is drunk, visits Sam Jie at her house and begs her for forgiveness for causing Tin Ko's post-funeral meal to be disrupted. Sam Jie was still angry and asked Laughin to leave, but Laughin started to profess his love to Sam Jie instead. Sam Jie pushed him away and slapped him across his face. Laughin was about to leave when Hau Ko came home. Hau Ko suspect something is not right and chased after Laughin. Hau Ko forced Laughin to apologise to Sam Jie and Sam Jie gave Hau Ko the authority to handle Laughin. Laughin begged Hau Ko for a chance to live and promised to lived by Hao Ko's rules.
Pak Kiu and his team were having lunch when they received an emergency call that someone fell into the sea. The team's sergeant instructs Yuk Bo to be the one to dive into the sea to save the victim as she is in plain clothes. However, when the reach the site, Yuk Bo hesitates. Pak Kiu noticing that Yuk Bo is not ready to dive into the sea, dives in on her behalf and saves the victim. Back at the station, the sergeant reprimands Yuk Bo and asks her to reconsider her decision to be a policewoman.
To cheer Yuk Bo up, her teammates decided to have an impromptu BBQ party at Pak Kiu's place. Yuk Bo is surprised to see Fa Si Lai there. It was then that she knew that Fa Si Lai has been working as a housekeeper all these while.
Yuk Bo rushed out from the house and Pak Kiu runs after her. She goes to the pier and dives in. Pak Kiu dives in after her to help her. Yuk Bo then confides in Pak Kiu and Pak Kiu promises to help her be a better policewoman.
Pak Kiu and his EU team were deployed to Mega Disco (a club under Hau Ko's watch) as there were groups fighting. Laughin intentionally mention that Sam Jie is going to pick Hau Ko to be the new triad leader. Pak Kiu heard the info and quickly informs Lap Man.
Sam Jie finds out that Tin Chat (a senior level triad member) intentionally creates trouble at Mega Disco. She goes to his sauna place to look for him and reprimands him. When Tin Chat is rude towards Sam Jie, she slaps him across the face and warns him not to create any more trouble until a new leader is elected.
Episode 9
Sam Jie is suspicious of her driver, Chung and Hau Ko's relationship. She accidentally finds out that the two of them knows each other from before but when she questions them, both deny know the other party from before.
Sam Jie plant a recording device in the car to listen to Chung and Hau Ko's conversation. But, when she was planting the device, Laughin saw her doing so. Laughin told her that Hau Ko may have started to plan to revenge on Tin Ko since two years before and may even intentionally arrange for Chung to be Tin Ko's driver.
Laughin advised Sam Jie to go to Taiwan to investigate further. He offered to accompany her but Sam Jie declined, saying if they both go together, Hau Ko will be suspicious.
Hau Ko and Laughin were together in the car when Hau Ko discovered the hidden recorder. Hau Ko confronted Laughin (with a gun to Laughin's head) and Laughin confessed that the recorder was planted by Sam Jie. Laughin pleaded with Hao Ko and said he will help Hau Ko to be the new leader. He is confident he can convince Sam Jie as she now trusts him completely.
Pak Kiu and Yuk Bo could no longer tolerate their team sergeant, Chiu, and request for a change of team. They are now transferred to the trekking division under EU.
Laughin decides to join Sam Jie in Taiwan. He also arranged a meeting for her with the Taiwanese triad leader. The Taiwanese triad leader told them that Chung is known is Taiwan as the "God of Gun". Sam Jie returns to Hong Kong and is surprised to learn that Tin Ko's urn placing ceremony is over and no one informed her about the change of time. Her name is also not carved on the marble as Tin Ko's wife.
Back at Chun Hing, the triad elders questioned her loyalty to Tin Ko and accuse her of wanting to become the new triad leader. However, Hau Ko protect her and inform the triad elders that he is the one who asked Chung to look for Tin Ko two years ago. Hau Ko said as Chung has many enemies in Taiwan, it will be better for him to be in Hong Kong after his release from prison, so Hau Ko asked Chung to look for Tin Ko to get a job.
After the meeting at Chun Hing a group of people ambushed Sam Jie. Laughin and Chung shield her from the attack. Chung was slashed a few times on his right hand and back. Sam Jie finally trusts Hau Ko again.
Lap Man called Hau Ko out to question him about his rise in status within Chun Hing. Lap Man reminds him of intention to rekindle his relationship with Yau Yau. Hau Ko thanked Lap Man for helping him successfully complete his mission while Lap Man thanked Hau Ko for providing him information to nab Tin Ko. Hau Ko recorded the conversation he had with Lap Man and send it to his superior. Lap Man is suspended from his duties.
