Myolie has her eyes set on Best Newcomer

Myolie Wu recently signed a music contract with Neway Star Music. Her debut album is scheduled for release in November.

Myolie was at metro Radio Station to promote her new song 單身旅行, loosely translated as Single Holiday. Myolie acknowledge that promotion work for her new song is tiring and lots of hardwork but it is worth it. She said, "singing is something personal".

If she keeps to schedule and release the album in November, she will be eligible for the Best Newcomer Award. Reporters asked if she sees Linda Chung as her biggest competitor but Myolie is quick to deny, "You can't say that, Linda Chung sings very well, I don't think about the awards much."

Myolie was questioned if she has a higher degree of confidence considering she's a TVB artist, Myolie said that she doesn't think too much about awards as she has just released her first song.
