Synopsis:
Maiden's Vow is a story which revolves around four generations of women (from the same family) from four different periods of time. The story starts in the Late Qing Dynasty then moves on to the period of the May Fourth Movement and then to the 1960s and ends in modern time today. It aims to showcase the different roles of women in each period of time as well as their their changing status is society.
